Call me protective, but I tend to be serious when it comes to the safety and security of my kids. They are my world, and I need to make sure that they are in the best condition at all times. For a mother like me, I would feel really guilty if I am not able to take good care of my kids. This is why I tend to go overboard at times, which my kids absolutely hate.

When my youngest son told me that he wanted a skateboard for his birthday, I told him I would get him one provided he would be playing the same with a Protec Ace Matte Gray Lasek helmet together with elbow and knee pads. I know this is over the top, but I want to make sure that he is free from any potential injuries and may come running to me for help. I simply would want to make sure he makes it out safe and alive whenever he uses his skateboard.
