My grandfather is a great practical joker. At his age, you wouldn’t expect someone who looks so old to have such a wacky sense of humor. But he does. And all members of the family have been a target of his pranks one time or another.

One of the most memorable pranks we all love to rehash during family reunions was the time gramps joined me and my cousins at the golf course one day. Our grandfather wanted to tag along and we thought he can’t do any tricks out in the open green. We were wrong. We didn’t know he was carrying gag golf balls in his pockets. When it was my turn to putt, the ball gramps laid on the grass exploded and scared the heck out of me but elicited loud guffaws from all my cousins, including our sneaky grandfather.
