Baseball is a sport played between two teams with nine players each. The goal is for players to score runs by hitting a thrown ball using a bat and touching a series of four markers or bases located at the corners of a diamond. Players on the batting team takes turn hitting the ball thrown by the pitcher of the other team.
The fielding team will try to stop players of the batting team from scoring runs by getting the hitters out. Baseball involves several essential gear. These include balls, gloves and bats. Some players prefer wooden bats like maple baseball bats over aluminum ones.
