Proper Use of Paintball Gun
Paintball is a team game that depends on teamwork, tactical awareness, accuracy, terrain knowledge, prediction, reflexes and gun skills. It’s like playing a real life version of Call of Duty or Medal of Honor (or any other modern first person video game shooter). It comes down to how well coordinated you are in executing and incorporating all the attributes when facing your opponent. But it all starts with firing your paintball gun. First off is to tuck the butt of the gun into the armpit of your strong side. Use your secondary hand to steady the barrel.
Do not close one eye when aiming. While this is tempting to do so this will restrict your peripheral vision. Invest in a laser paintball sight instead. If this is not practical, position your head over the barrel so that you can estimate your aim with both eyes open. When firing at a moving target, try to ‘lead’ your shots by predicting where your opponent will be headed. With enough practice you should see an improvement in the accuracy of your shots and see your score climb up in your next paintball match!
