I’m pretty fortunate to have parents who own a watch store. At an early age, I was able to wear all kinds of watches in different styles and sizes. I got so fascinated with watches so I started collecting them. My collection includes expensive dress watches, accurate atomic watches, heart rate monitor watches and lately a GPS equipped watch. I also keep in my collection a watch that is a giveaway from an airline. It had the airline logo on it.

I find collecting watches a practical choice. They are not merely for display or neither be kept in a drawer. I get to wear each one of them on different occasions as well. When I have a formal affair or go to work I wear my dress watch. When I train for an ironman, I use my heart rate monitor watch. When I go for a train run or long run I use my GPS equipped watch so I’ll know how fast I’m going and how far I’ve run. When I want to be casual, I use one of my atomic watches.
